God is good. He really is. Why do I always have to add, “He REALLY is?” Because I’ve spent a lot of time doubting His providence.
I’m learning over and over again while I’m here that God is so good to people who are literally relying on Him and nothing else.
James, the founder of IRM, has been in some desperate need of funding for his ministry. I’m not going to tell you the exact numbers, but lets just say he had hit rock bottom yesterday. James is always encouraging me and KB to just pray in faith for the things we worry about. We frequently come to him with questions and worries about this future home for girls, and he usually responds telling us to just pray. James told us he prayed yesterday for more funds. Last night, a random woman from Australia somehow learned about IRM and emailed James wanting to donate 1,000 dollars. Australia!?! I love it. James returned an email telling her how she was the literal answer of God to him and how grateful he was. She decided at that point to give another 1,000 dollars.

God has provided two wonderful Godly women for the warden and house-keeping/cooking positions. We interviewed the lady who will be the warden yesterday and I was just astounded by how perfect she seemed for this job. I know some of you emailed and facebook-ed me saying you were praying. God came through.
God is good. Don’t let there be a doubt about it. Pray in faith. Trust in Him alone.
